The visit highlighted the government’s dedication to enhancing Belize’s disaster preparedness and response capabilities.
During the tour, Prime Minister Briceño engaged with NEMO staff, gaining firsthand knowledge of the organization’s ongoing projects and initiatives. The Prime Minister’s presence served to underscore the importance of collaboration between government agencies in safeguarding communities across Belize.
The visit also provided an opportunity for NEMO personnel to showcase their expertise and dedication to disaster management.
