By Belize Live News Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize has issued a weather forecast for today predicting a mix of sunshine and clouds throughout the day, with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible. While Belize remains unaffected by Hurricane Beryl, which made landfall in Texas, the storm’s remnants could bring increased rainfall to the region.
The morning is expected to see isolated showers and thunderstorms, increasing in intensity by the afternoon. Tonight, southern and central areas will see a few showers, thunderstorms, and periods of rain. Marine conditions are expected to be moderate to rough with gusty winds. A small craft caution is in effect. Temperatures along the coast will range from 86°F (30°C) to 81°F (27°C), while inland areas will see highs of 89°F (32°C) and lows of 74°F (23°C).
