Carnival 2024 gets financial boost: National Celebrations Commission awards $20,000 to carnival association

By Belize Live News Staff: In a significant show of support for Belize’s vibrant cultural traditions, the National Celebrations Commission (NCC) today presented a $20,000 cheque to the Belize Carnival Association (BCA). This generous donation is aimed at bolstering preparations for the upcoming 2024 Carnival Road March and the numerous mas camps that bring this spectacular event to life.

The official handover of the cheque took place earlier today, with Councillor Eluide Miller from the NCC and Mr. Albert Vaughan, Board Director at NICH, presenting the funds to Mr. Patrick Thompson, President of the BCA. This financial injection comes at a crucial time, as the intricate planning and creative endeavors for Carnival 2024 are already well underway.

With this financial boost, the BCA can focus on delivering a truly unforgettable Carnival experience for both participants and spectators alike.
