Tropic Air suspends flights due to Hurricane Beryl threat

By Belize Live News Staff: Belizean airline Tropic Air has announced the suspension of all flights starting at the end of the day on Wednesday, July 3rd, in response to the approaching Hurricane Beryl. The decision prioritizes the safety of passengers, crew, and staff amidst the impending storm.

The airline will resume operations only after receiving the “all-clear” from relevant authorities, ensuring the safe resumption of flights. Cargo services will also be affected, with the last drop-off scheduled for 11:30 AM on Wednesday.

Tropic Air acknowledges the inconvenience caused by this disruption and apologizes for any impact on customers’ travel plans. The airline’s customer care team is available to assist passengers with reservation adjustments and provide support during this period.

The airline urges all residents of Belize to heed the advice and warnings issued by local authorities regarding hurricane safety. Updates on the situation will be provided through Tropic Air’s social media platforms as the situation develops.
