Fisheries Department closes licensing sections due to Hurricane Beryl

By Belize Live News Staff: The Fisheries Department has announced the closure of its licensing sections in both Belize City and Punta Gorda, effective Wednesday, July 3rd, 2024. This precautionary measure is in response to the approaching Hurricane Beryl.

Normal operations will resume as soon as conditions permit, with further updates on the reopening of licensing services to be provided in due course.

The Fisheries Department apologizes for any inconvenience caused and appreciates the public’s understanding as they prioritize safety precautions during this time.
