By Belize Live News Staff: A lone gunman opened fire on the Roaring Creek police station in the early hours of Sunday, leaving the building riddled with bullet holes but no injuries, authorities said.
A police constable on duty narrowly escaped harm as the attacker, wearing a white hoodie, fired multiple shots at the station before fleeing the scene. Forensic investigators recovered 18 .40 caliber shell casings from the area.
Police have detained three suspects, including two teenagers, in connection with the incident. The motive behind the attack remains unclear.
