Belize Weather Forecast: A mix of sun and rain ahead

More rain expected as low pressure system lingers

By Belize Live News Staff: Belizeans can expect a mix of sunshine and scattered showers, with the potential for thunderstorms, according to the latest weather forecast.

Sunday is predicted to see sunny spells interspersed with cloudy periods. Showers and thunderstorms are most likely to develop in southern and coastal areas during the morning, moving inland throughout the day. Central and southern regions may experience continued rainfall overnight.

Mariners are advised to exercise caution, as winds are expected to reach 10-15 knots, creating choppy sea conditions with waves up to 5 feet. Gusty winds and rough seas are possible in areas experiencing heavy downpours.

Temperatures will vary across the country, with coastal areas seeing highs of 88°F (31°C) and inland regions reaching 92°F (33°C).

The forecast for Monday predicts cloudy periods with isolated showers or thunderstorms, with the possibility of increased rainfall in the south overnight.
