Belize Archaeological Sites open despite inclement weather, caution advised

By Belize Live News Staff: The Institute of Archaeology (NICH) under the National Institute of Culture and History (NICH) has issued a weather advisory for all archaeological sites in Belize. As of 6:15 AM on June 20, 2024, all sites remain open for visitation.

However, due to ongoing inclement weather conditions, tour guides and visitors are advised to exercise caution and be alert for any potential hazards. The IA/NICH is closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates as needed.

Visitors are encouraged to check the IA/NICH website or social media pages for the latest information before planning their visits.
