By Belize Live News Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize (NMS) forecasts continued moist and unstable conditions across the country for today and tonight, with cloudy skies, showers, thunderstorms, and periods of light rain affecting most areas.
Coastal regions can anticipate more rainfall this morning, while inland areas will likely see showers and thunderstorms primarily in the afternoon. The rain is expected to persist throughout the night.
Small craft operators are advised to exercise caution due to gusty winds and occasionally rough seas near heavy showers or thunderstorms. Winds will be from the east-southeast at 5-15 knots, with choppy seas and waves of 3-5 feet.
Temperatures will vary across the country, with coastal areas reaching highs of 89°F (32°C) and lows of 81°F (27°C). Inland temperatures will range from 95°F (35°C) to 75°F (24°C), while the hills will experience highs of 82°F (28°C) and lows of 70°F (21°C).
The NMS predicts that cloudy skies, showers, and thunderstorms will continue into Sunday and Sunday night.
