Mother behind bars for crack pipe, bail unmet

By Belize Live News Staff: A 32-year-old mother, Errolyn Ionie Brown, has been remanded to prison after being unable to meet bail following her arrest for possession of a crack pipe. Police apprehended Ms. Brown on Orange Street in Belize City on September 3rd.

Despite admitting to crack cocaine use, Ms. Brown pleaded not guilty to the possession charge during her court appearance. The court set bail at $200, an amount she was unable to secure. Consequently, she will remain in custody until her next court date on October 2nd.
