Caves Branch tour guides partner with Archaeology Institute for Nohoch Che'en cleanup

By Belize Live News Staff: The Institute of Archaeology (IA) has extended its gratitude to the Caves Branch Tour Guide Association for their invaluable assistance in a recent cleanup effort at the Nohoch Che’en Archaeological Reserve.

Tour guides joined IA park staff in clearing trails and removing debris from fallen trees along the river route, ensuring the continued enjoyment of this natural wonder for visitors.

The IA emphasized the importance of such partnerships, stating, “It is through such collaborative efforts that we can ensure visitors continue to enjoy Belize’s natural wonders.” They further expressed their appreciation for the tour guides’ commitment and support, and look forward to future collaborations for the protection and preservation of Belize’s shared environment.

The Nohoch Che’en Caves Branch Archaeological Reserve, a popular tourist destination, is known for its stunning cave systems and rich archaeological significance.
